Trip to Panarea e Stromboli
Departure h 14,00
Return h 22,00
Departure from Lipari in the early afternoon. Sailing along Monte Rosa and the bay of Canneto, we will head towards the island of Panarea.
Panarea is the smallest of the seven islands, now renowned for its refined beauty and VIP nightlife.
The first bay we will encounter is Calajunco, famous for its crystal-clear waters. Above it lies the headland of Capo Milazzese, where you can still find the remains of a prehistoric Bronze Age village.
After Calajunco, we reach the beautiful Cala Zimmari, which features the island’s longest sandy beach. After passing the beach, numerous islets appear before us: Dattilo, Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, Bottaro, and the Panarelli—a small archipelago full of discoveries.
Once at the port, you’ll have time to explore this gem… From the port of San Pietro, several walking paths lead you through the island, allowing you to discover picturesque corners, enchanting views, exclusive shops, restaurants, bars, and charming villages.
We’ll then depart for Stromboli, passing by the islets of Basiluzzo and Spinazzola, located halfway between the two islands.
And here we are in front of “IDDU”—the most active volcano in the world, the lighthouse of the Mediterranean, a perfectly cone-shaped island rising nearly 2,400 meters, of which only 900 are above sea level.
The fourth largest island in the archipelago, but the most famous, Stromboli's contrast between white houses and black sand stands out, while the constant plume of smoke is proof of its ongoing activity.
In the afternoon, we’ll disembark at the port of Scari. There are many options here: a swim in cobalt-blue waters accessible from the many beaches and coves, a stroll through the colorful town center, a stop at the panoramic terrace in front of the church of San Vincenzo, or a visit to the house where Ingrid Bergman and Rossellini lived during the filming of Stromboli—not to be missed.
In the early evening, we will depart to see Strombolicchio, a 43-meter-high islet shaped like a medieval castle, topped with a lighthouse.
To end the day, we will stop beneath the Sciara del Fuoco—a steep slope carved by lava flows—to admire the spectacular eruptions of this ever-active volcano.
We will slowly leave the Sciara and return to Lipari, ending our journey around 22:00.
